MAP: The Musicians' Alliance for Peace

MAP is dedicated to the creation of a local and world community where compassion, empathy and diversity are the norm; where peace is cultivated both as a means and an end. MAP emphasizes that creativity and communication are primary expressions of humanity and that the two have a symbiotic relationship. Individuals thrive when they are creative and are given an outlet in an encouraging community. Inversely, a community flourishes when its members are inspired to be creative. MAP encourages a culture of universal responsibility and is inspired by the musicians and music lovers around the world that unite to celebrate this cause.
